WHERE THERE’S A WILL, THERE’S A WAY
I was contacted by the owners of the Isle of Man Crossfit to help them rebrand. They wanted to reflect the island’s viking history and show a strong, confident brand that’s less intense than the current look and feel. The brief called for exploration of viking runes, but I didn’t want to take anything too literally as all rune’s have multiple meanings. The research I did for the brand kept coming up with the viking saying ‘where there’s a will, there’s a way’ and the owners and I agreed that this statement is a simple but effective guide for how they want to grow their business but also a great mentality for the people who will be pushing themselves to be the fittest they can be at this gym.
I worked with the owners through moodboards, to creating the namestyle, IOM (Isle of Man) rune influenced abstract graphic, pattern for clothing and merch, to social media designs and stationery.
